There are so many reasons you want your CBD with you when you travel, especially if you’re a nervous flyer. But can you take CBD on a plane?

If you are traveling domestically (within the 50 United States), then YES, you can take your Rongoāvis CBD on a plane, train, bus, car, and other means of transportation. Rongoāvis Full-Spectrum CBD oils adhere to the standards set forth in the 2018 Farm Bill which says, in general, products that contain hemp-derived CBD with THC levels below 0.3% are legal to travel within the United States. However, TSA rules still apply, in that any liquids (oils/tinctures) must be less than 3 ounces if it’s in your carry-on bag.

If you are traveling with medical marijuana or a CBD/THC hybrid, be sure to check the state laws regarding products with more than 0.3% THC for the state to which you’re traveling.

International travel can be a bit more complicated with CBD. Check the laws of your destination to see if CBD is legal and allowed to be brought into the country. Make sure you have a certificate of analysis on hand in case you are asked to prove your CBD is within the legal guidelines.

How should I pack my CBD when traveling?

Checked luggage is the best for traveling with CBD oil, but you are allowed to pack it in your carry-on as well. The most important thing to remember is to pack your CBD wisely so that it can be easily accessed by airport authorities. Shatter-resistant travel bags work best. But even bubble wrap can work to protect your tincture.

Rongoāvis CBD products are already “travel size” making it easy and convenient to take your CBD with you… wherever your vacation takes you.

Safe travels!
