The mint julep got its start at the famous Kentucky Derby, but now its legacy stands on its own. It’s easier to make than you think! The mint julep uses simple, easy to find ingredients. The crushed ice is key to getting this cocktail super chill. The addition of Rongoavis Chill-Ax tincture puts you in the right frame of mind, melting your worries away!

- 8-10 mint leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of fine sugar (or 1/4 oz. of simple syrup)
- 2 oz. of bourbon
- Crushed ice
- Seltzer water
- Mint sprig for garnish
- 1 dropper of Chill-Ax tincture
Makes 1 drink
Place the mint leaves in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass and top with the sugar (or syrup).
Muddle these together until the leaves begin to break down.
Add a splash of seltzer water, fill the glass 3/4 full with crushed ice, add the bourbon and Chill-Ax.
Top with another splash of seltzer, stir, and garnish with a sprig of mint.
